Email clients often filter incoming messages into spam or junk folders to keep unwanted mail out of inboxes. These filters sometimes mistakenly move legitimate messages into the wrong folder also.
The steps below will help to ensure that emails from The Yield reach your team members successfully:
Allowlist by delivery IP
To improve delivery with allowlisting, your IT team will need to adjust the configuration of the receiving email server to accept mail from our email delivery IP addresses – which come from Mailchimp.
To start the process, follow these steps.
1. Contact your IT team and provide them with the following list of IP addresses:
- 201.128.0/20
- 2.128.0/18
- 105.0.0/16
2. The IT team should then be able to allowlist all Mailchimp IP addresses on the affected domain. Please confirm with The Yield’s Support team when this action is completed, and they will then confirm the next email send.
Add an address as a safe sender
Most email clients provide a safe sender or allowlist (other providers may refer to it as "whitelist") option for trusted contacts in the address book. Ask your users to add The Yield’s ‘From’ email addresses (not limited to support@theyield.com and marketing@theyield.com) to this list to help the messages bypass filters and reach your users’ inbox.
